How Mitch Got Bodied

Our lives are often defined by those moments when we are pushed beyond the limits  of what we think we are capable of. For Get Bodied by Mitch founder, Mitch Senat,  that moment came in 2010 while training for a Golden Gloves tournament.

Mitch’s training began while managing a top NYC nightclub. The constant, unavoidable  alcohol and bright lights of the nightclub scene followed by mandatory 3-mile runs at  dawn forced him to reevaluate his choices. Should he continue limiting himself in the  draining nightclub environment or should he choose to be the healthy, fit, best version  of himself? Mitch ultimately chose discipline and fitness and through this determination  he performed for 10 weeks at the Golden Gloves finals at Madison Square Garden.

Seeing the achievements his hard work afforded him, Mitch was inspired to pursue a  career in fitness and health. He enrolled in certificate programs for personal training,  Olympic lifting and nutrition from NCSF and Precision Nutrition in order to help other  individuals transform who they think they are into who they are meant to be.

Fitness Philosophy

The Get Bodied by Mitch fitness program is more then just a set of routines and reps. It's a way to add value to your life through the way you live it. 

This program will change your outlook on the way you train, eat and, very importantly, view yourself. By building a program tailored to you, we can build up your weak areas, enhance your strong points and get you on your way to the best version of you.

Get Bodied by Mitch believes there are 5 stages necessary for total body change:

Nutrition

A new you starts with what is going inside of your body. Understanding how to make the right nutritional choices is essential to you achieving your goals.

Education

You can make better choices. Understanding what your body type responds to best will help you stay on track. This knowledge will change the way you think about training. Instead of looking down on training hard or feeling overwhelmed with an overly strict diet, you will learn how to love the way you train and eat because you are approaching your goal of becoming a new you.

Motivation

Weekly check-in calls are used to establish goals and discuss challenges and how navigate them. By continuing conversation and engagement outside of the gym, you will come mentally prepared workouts. Your physical fitness is as much about what you can do as what you think you can do.

Accommodation

Get Bodied by Mitch is here to meet all your fitness needs. All imbalances and/or injuries will be accessed so we can modify correctly and work towards improving and removing them. While we work to change your eating habits we will make sure your new nutrition lifestyle is one you will can live with and enjoy. 

Realization

After activating the first four stages of Get Bodied by Mitch, you will start to see major changes in your mind and your body. This will always be a process, constantly changing, evolving and challenging you to be the best version of yourself. Realization is about recognizing your hard work, seeing the commitment you’ve made to yourself.
